Urban Environmental Geography – Dynamic Earth

What is meant by “dynamic Earth”?

Give an example that shows relationships among Geog3330 Big Science Concepts and processes of the geosphere. Write complete sentences as you practice for the midterm.

· Concept #1: Conservation of Energy

· Concept #2: Volume, temperature, mass, density, and pressure are related.

· Concept #3: Earth’s cycles… just as water is recycled… minerals, rocks, and crust are recycled.

· Concept #4: Budgets summarize exchanges of matter… (water, minerals, energy….)

· Concept #5: Earth systems are cumulative… past processes result in today’s physical settings.
